10th Cambridge University & London School of Economics inter-university conference

We are proud to hold the 10th Cambridge-LSE inter-university conference at the LSE, commemorating a decade of collaboration between our distinguished institutions. This year we are joined in collaboration by the prestigious institutions of Oxford and Georgetown Universities, promising a worthy and exciting decennial of this conference. All of this is made possible by a generous grant from the LSE Annual Fund.

Over the past ten years this conference, led by and created for post-graduate students, has steadily grown in size and robustness. Through the efforts of post-graduates, and the encouragement of leading academics at both institutions we have managed to remain committed and driven towards its continuation and improvement. Every year the conference is bigger and better than the previous one, and this year is certainly no exception.

We would also like to take this conference as an opportunity to commemorate Dr. Gerard Duveen, who was a co-founder and active proponent of this conference, and who passed away in an untimely manner last year. His contributions to the conference and the disciplines that it serves will not soon be forgotten. He was loved and respected as a colleague, mentor, and friend by many and will be dearly missed.
